	About Us.
	Canterbury Sink and Tap started operating in 1997 as a home based part-time business in Melbourne. At the time the owner was renovating an old Edwardian property and found it difficult to buy a Fireclay sink and upmarket quality traditional tapware. He bought a sink in England brought it back on the plane with him and started promoting the sinks on a small scale. Soon after he was given exclusive rights to sell Shaws Fireclay sinks in Australia and a short time later approached Nicolazzi to sell their tapware.	In 2007 he was granted distribution rights for Nicolazzi and a formidable partnership was formed. In obtaining sole rights for tapware it was necessary to obtain both Wels water efficient ratings and Watermark certification. Today Canterbury Sink and Tap has grown to be the main supplier of heavy duty fireclay sinks to boutique kitchen and bathroom retailers in Australia. Our extensive distribution network includes major plumbing groups and discerning outlets who promote quality products.
